Fall 2016 Anime – Impressions

If you’ve read my earlier post, “Fall 2016 Anime – Most Anticipated“, then you would see that I mentioned quite the lineup of anime I’d be giving a try. Unfortunately, due to becoming increasingly more busy, this anime season got away from me. I’ve only been keeping up with a few shows thus far and, while we’re deeper into the season than usual for these posts, I still wanted to give my impressions of these series. Summer 2016 Anime – First Impressions

Ah yes, the summer heat is now truly upon us, giving us the perfect opportunity to stay indoors and watch anime (thank you 112 degree Arizona heat). I’ve prepared some short impressions of each anime I’m watching this season, for a total of six. I was going to try New Game! but never managed to squeeze it into my schedule. Spring 2016 Anime – First Impressions

Once again, the spring anime season is upon us and it’s been a while since I’ve been this excited for a season (a whole year to be exact). There’s a lot of variety this time around so if you’re a fan of anime I expect you will find something to your liking. I, personally, won’t be watching every anime available, due to being busy with Dark Souls 3 and maybe school?, but I’ve picked up a few of the highlights. As a reminder, I’m not an anime critic. I’m a fan of the medium, like most of you, and am giving my personal opinions. Hopefully by reading this, I can provide some quick insight on some anime you might not heard of or are not sure about. Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress: A repackaging of Attack on Titan

The 2016 spring anime season is upon us, spanning from April to the end June, and so far one particular series has caught my eye. Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, or Koutetsujou no Kabaneri in Japanese, is an anime original project created by Wit Studio, best known for their involvement in, you may have guessed it based on the title of this post, the Attack on Titan anime.
